About the Bounty

The Solana ecosystem is extremely diverse and ever-growing with projects ranging from AMM's, Analytical tools, DEX's, Games, NFT's to so much more. With an ecosystem growing at the speed-of-light, it is vital to be able to build, maintain & grow a common hub for all projects to be listed & verified by the community.

Solana is now sponsoring a bounty to design an ecosystem page with various features.

The goal with this site would be to ensure that it represents the diversity of our ecosystem and enables anyone to quickly identify, read & connect with projects from any domain.

Things to consider:

  • What information should a good ecosystem page display? (Eg: Socials, Documentation, Audits, Contracts, etc)
  • What would the user expect to see on the landing page or as an immediate CTA?
  • How does the user navigate the site?
  • How do we improve search & browsing?
  • What features would make the site better?
  • Types of categories/filters

Pages to be designed:

  1. Homepage
  2. Category Section
  3. Project Listings
  4. ‘Submit your project’
  5. Any new pages / sections that you think should be added (E.g., events/meetups page, wallets, etc.)

Evaluation Criteria

Requirements

  • Did you identify problems and gaps with the existing ecosystem pages?
  • Did you explain what the user goals are for the different areas/features of the site?
  • Did you include screenshots of the existing designs?
  • Did you create a new design that solves the problems you identified?
  • Did you find creative ways to help the user navigate through crucial parts of the site?
  • Did you package your redesign into a nice presentation (e.g. Notion, Google Slides, Figma, etc)?
