Objective</h3>Design a professional-yet-playful logo for Hackaroo, a Solana hackathon brand in Australia. The mark must fuse Roo (Aussie, energetic, approachable) and Hacker (digital, clever, tech-forward) into a single, smart identity that works both as a standalone brand and under the anzSOL umbrella.This logo will be worn, shared, and posted by some of the most talented builders in the region — it must look instantly credible, stand out in feeds, and feel like something worth keeping long after the event.<hr><h3 class="heading-node">2. Tone &amp; Personality</h3><ul class="list-node"><li>Aussie-friendly confidence — warm, welcoming, slightly cheeky without being silly.</li><li>Intelligent &amp; modern — appeals to first-timers and seasoned blockchain developers.</li><li>Credible &amp; clean — signals quality and professionalism in the hackathon space.</li></ul><hr><h3 class="heading-node">3. Design Directions</h3>We’d love to see exploration anchored in Direction 1 and Direction 3, but if you’re inspired by another visual approach that you believe captures Hackaroo’s essence, we’re open to it.Direction 1 — “The Digital Leap”Minimalist kangaroo in mid-leap, built from geometric shapes or digital elements — motion feels like both “roo” and “data in motion.” May incorporate Solana spectrum subtly in a trail or cut.Direction 3 — “The Friendly Cipher”Bold, modern wordmark as the hero, with subtle roo/coding Easter eggs in the letterforms. “anzSOL presents” sits cleanly in the lockup. Design Considerations</h3><ul class="list-node"><li>Avoid cliché: no clip-art kangaroos, hoodie-wearing hackers, or neon gamer tropes.</li><li>Find a hybrid or abstract visual that blends “roo” motion/energy with subtle coding, blockchain, or Solana nods.</li><li>Vector-friendly and scalable for hoodies, tees, stickers, web banners, social avatars.</li><li>Colour palette: may reference Solana’s spectrum but should stand on its own; avoid overwhelming gradients.</li><li>Typography: modern, confident sans-serif; no heavy gamer fonts or over-stylised type.</li><li>Must work in full colour and single colour applications.</li><li>SolanaANZ logo can be refined or adapted to integrate more naturally with Hackaroo while maintaining brand recognition.</li></ul><hr><h3 class="heading-node">5. Strategic Visual Hooks</h3>The name “Hackaroo” is short, memorable, and disarmingly friendly.
