Build and Maintain Okto DocsAbout the Sponsor Okto Docs is a technical documentation project of the Okto platform which is designed to streamline developer onboarding into web3 and provide seamless integration resources for developers.Scope of Work We are looking for a skilled freelancer to take ownership of building and maintaining the Okto Docs project on fumadocs (a nextjs project similar to docusaurus). The role includes:<ul class="list-node"><li>Developing the front-end interface for Okto Docs based on existing designs.</li><li>Writing high-quality technical content and documentation to support developers.</li><li>Taking complete ownership of the documentation project and making edits as and when required to keep the docs updated</li><li>Writing sample template dapps on react and nextjs using the okto SDKs and documenting the process that can be easily followed by other developers</li><li>Creating an interactive API spec page and swagger files</li><li>Come up with improvement suggestions to make the developer experience in using okto the best.</li></ul>Skills and Expertise Required<ul class="list-node"><li>Strong front-end development skills with a focus on Nextjs, TypeScript and JavaScript.</li><li>Hands-on experience with blockchain dApp development and understanding of smart contracts.</li><li>Proficiency in technical writing to create clear, concise, and developer-friendly content.</li></ul>Compensation and Timeline This is a fully remote project running from February to April 2025, with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement. Payment details are as follows:<ul class="list-node"><li>INR 500 per hour.</li><li>Minimum engagement of twenty hours per week.</li><li>At the end of each month, the candidate must submit an invoice detailing tasks completed and hours worked, verified against the daily tracker sheet maintained by the candidate.</li><li>Payment will be processed in USDC on Solana, calculated by converting the INR total to USD at the exchange rate on the day of payment.</li></ul>Eligibility Candidates with a proven track record in blockchain development, Nextjs/frontend dev and technical writing are preferred. A portfolio or GitHub showcasing relevant work will be required. Candidate should be available for daily stand-up calls and meetings that will be scheduled between 10 am to 7 pm IST (GMT +5:30)Start Date The selected candidate will be required to start immediately.
