<h2 class="heading-node">About Superteam Malaysia</h2>Superteam Malaysia helps promising projects in the Solana ecosystem in Malaysia launch and grow. We're a co-operative of creatives, developers, and operators experienced in launching and growing tech businesses. We're excited to support builders in the Frontier hackathon.<h2 class="heading-node">Mission</h2>Build a strong product with real potential on Solana as part of the Colosseum Frontier hackathon. Teams building from Malaysia or with a strong connection to our local community can compete for an additional $10,000 local prize pool.<h2 class="heading-node">Hackathon Track Scope</h2>This hackathon track is open-ended and highly founder-oriented. We're looking for projects that solve real user problems and make meaningful use of the Solana platform. Projects can span various categories, including:<ul class="list-node"><li>Consumer applications</li><li>DeFi (Decentralized Finance)</li><li>Payments</li><li>Infrastructure</li><li>Artificial Intelligence (AI)</li><li>Data solutions</li><li>Developer tooling</li><li>Identity and social identity solutions</li><li>Privacy apps and private payments</li><li>Coordination tools</li><li>Onchain commerce</li></ul>We are particularly interested in teams that demonstrate a clear reason why Solana is the right platform for their project and show credible potential to continue building beyond the hackathon.Bonus consideration will be given to projects aligning with our partner tracks:<ul class="list-node"><li>SNS Identity Track: Identity, social identity, and agent identity on Solana (<a target="" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="https://superteam.fun/earn/listing/sns-identity-track-colosseum-hackathon-powered-by-sns-stmy-magicblock">track listing here</a>).</li><li>MagicBlock Privacy Track: Privacy apps and private payments (<a target="" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="https://superteam.fun/earn/listing/privacy-track-colosseum-hackathon-powered-by-magicblock-st-my-and-sns">track listing here</a>).</li><li>KIRAPAY Payments Track: Practical payments and real-world adoption (<a target="" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="https://superteam.fun/earn/listing/build-with-kirapay">track listing here</a>).</li></ul>Note: You will need to submit your project concurrently in the respective partner track links to be considered.<h2 class="heading-node">Submission Requirements</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>Register for the hackathon on the Colosseum platform and select "Malaysia" or "Network State."</li><li>Submit your project to the Frontier hackathon on the Colosseum platform and select "Malaysia."</li><li>Submit your project on both the Colosseum portal and Superteam Earn.</li><li>The project must meet the official rules of the global hackathon.</li><li>Teams must have a meaningful connection to Malaysia, Superteam MY, or be actively participating through our Solana Network State Spring ‘26 program at Network School.</li><li>The overall submission quality (pitch deck, videos, and documentation) should clearly communicate the problem, product, architecture, and its significance.</li><li>If the team’s Github repo is closed source, please grant access to <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="mailto:malaysia@superteam.fun">malaysia@superteam.fun</a> for our evaluation.</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Judging Criteria</h2>Our local judging will be aligned with Colosseum’s founder-first philosophy. We will evaluate projects based on:<ul class="list-node"><li>Product Quality and User Value: Does the project solve a real problem, and is there a believable path to traction, usage, or product-market fit?</li><li>Technical Execution: How strong is the implementation? Does the team demonstrate real technical understanding, quality, and ambition?</li><li>Use of Solana: Does the product make meaningful use of Solana, or is it treated as an afterthought?</li><li>Founder Potential: Does the team look like it can keep shipping after the hackathon?
