Crafts is seeking a Technical Co-Founder to build and scale their Solana-based platform. This role is about joining early as a **key technical co-founder<h2 class="heading-node">Scope of Work &amp; Responsibilities</h2>This role is for a technical co-founder who will play an instrumental part in building and scaling the Crafts platform. You'll be focusing on:<ul class="list-node"><li>Developing the core platform, including Rust smart contracts for Solana, wallet infrastructure, and the Next.js TypeScript web application.</li><li>Integrating with major players like market makers, centralized exchanges, and partner protocols.</li><li>Improving existing infrastructure and CI/CD workflows.</li><li>Driving platform strategy, with a focus on increasing user retention, customer LTV, and implementing viral referral systems.</li><li>Making autonomous decisions to build profitable viral loops.</li><li>Actively participating in fundraising efforts (a round is expected to close soon).</li><li>Utilizing AI productively for the right tasks and mentoring other developers within a flat hierarchy.</li><li>Being hyper-focused during launch weeks to ensure a smooth rollout.</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Required Qualifications</h2>We're looking for an ambitious, founder-type individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a significant impact. Ideally, you'll have:<ul class="list-node"><li>Extensive experience building production-level applications.</li><li>A track record of creating and launching your own projects.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Next.js, Prisma, TypeScript, tRPC, and end-to-end full type-safety.</li><li>Experience with optimizing application speed.</li><li>Familiarity with Expo for creating Android SDKs from Progressive Web Apps.</li><li>A solid understanding of core blockchain concepts, particularly within the Solana ecosystem, including Rust, Solana Account Model, Anchor, and <code class="inline" spellcheck="false">@solana/web3.js</code>.</li><li>Experience with building your own Solana on-chain projects is a significant plus.</li><li>A strong desire to learn and deep dive into new technologies.</li><li>The ability to make independent decisions and contribute strategically.</li><li>Ideally based in Vienna or willing to relocate to work in person in the future.</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Compensation</h2>This is a co-founder role with significant equity and a competitive salary.<ul class="list-node"><li>Remote-first culture with flexible async collaboration</li><li>Role as Co-founder</li><li>Equity</li><li>50,000+ USDC yearly (will increase post-funding)</li><li>Healthcare</li></ul>
