About Perena

Perena makes onchain finance usable for normal people. We're building the layer where real-world assets — dollars, treasuries, credit, yield — become as easy to hold and earn on as money in a bank app, minus the bank. "But Why? — Blockchain" is our series putting the honest questions about tokenization and RWAs to the people who work in finance every day.

Mission

Create original street-interview content capturing how TradFi professionals actually react to tokenization and Real-World Assets (RWAs). Head to your city's financial district and talk to people who work in or around traditional finance — bankers, analysts, advisors, fund folks, fintech workers. We want real, unscripted reactions: the skepticism, the curiosity, the "wait, you can do that?" moments.

What makes a great submission

The best videos feel like eavesdropping on an honest conversation, not a promo. We're not looking for people who already agree with us — we want to see someone hear about RWAs for the first time and genuinely react.

Interview flow (adapt naturally; don't read them like a script):

1. What do you do in finance? (establishes they're actually TradFi — this matters)

2. Have you heard of "tokenization" or "real-world assets"? What do you think it means?

3. After a short, plain-English explanation from you: Does this sound useful, or like a solution looking for a problem? Push them to be honest.

4. Where do you see traditional finance being slow, expensive, or frustrating — the kind of thing a better ledger might fix?

5. Would you ever want your own savings earning yield onchain? Why or why not?

Submission Requirements

• Platform: X, LinkedIn (LinkedIn strongly encouraged — that's where your TradFi audience lives), or Instagram

• Format: Link to the published post. Video 60 sec–3 min.

• Tag @Perena! We are @Perena on X and @perena_org on Instagram

• Originality: Original, created for this quest. Interviewees must be real finance professionals — staged interviews, actors, or scripted "reactions" are disqualified.

• Consent: Confirm interviewees agreed to be filmed and posted publicly.

Judging Criteria

• Authenticity (10%): Are these real, identifiable-as-genuine TradFi professionals giving unscripted reactions?

• Insight (35%): Does the conversation surface something real about how TradFi sees RWAs — including honest skepticism?

• Clarity (30%): Is the exchange easy to follow for a general audience?

• Perena integration (10%): Natural, clear link back to the series and Perena without feeling like an ad.

• Craft (15%): Editing, captions, watchability.
