Bounty: Exploring Real-World Problems Solana Can Solve

There are countless real-world problems (outside of finance) that blockchain could theoretically solve. However, despite over 15 years of blockchain development, most attempts have failed to gain adoption due to technological limitations, poor business models, or lack of real demand.

With Solana’s high-speed, low-cost architecture, we want to re-examine these problems and explore whether blockchain is now a viable solution.

Your task is to write a detailed research piece identifying at least 10 real-world problems that Solana could help solve.

For each problem, you must:

1. Explain the problem and why it matters.

2. Describe how Solana could be used to solve it.

3. Analyze past attempts (if any) to solve this problem using blockchain. Were they successful? Why or why not?

4. Evaluate feasibility today—both from a technical and business perspective.

On-Chain Financial Records for Global Lending 💵

• Problem: Businesses in emerging markets struggle to get loans from foreign banks due to trust issues with local financial reports.

• Potential Solution: Using Solana to store financial record hashes for verifiable, tamper-proof financial statements.

• Past Attempts: Have there been any blockchain-based credit scoring systems?
