Build DePIN Apps | Industrial47 & Superteam India

Industrial47 is partnering with Superteam India on a dedicated Global DePIN track for the Solana Breakout hackathon powered by Colosseum.

DePIN is a unique opportunity for crypto to go mainstream, especially in markets like India where it can enable millions of users to earn, and not buy their crypto. We’re inviting founders and developers from around the world to build DePIN applications on Solana.

Industrial47 is a pre-seed fund for startups building for National Security, Space, Energy & Applied Materials in India. We’re together looking for the next breakout application that combines frontier hardware with frontier tech via DePIN.

Your Mission

Identify areas where Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePINs) can truly have a foundational impact. These can be:

• Energy

• Climate

• Compute

• Mobility & Transportation

• Supply chain & Logistics

• IoT

• Hardware.

We’re looking for founders building projects that have unique use cases, viable business models, and the ambition to grow into a full-fledged startup. Whether it’s an energy-sharing network, a distributed climate data system, or a novel way for people to earn (not just buy) their crypto, we want to see how your DePIN approach can help millions of everyday users benefit from Solana.

We have already seen DePIN teams like De Charge and GreenKWh come out of India, win prizes in a Colosseum hackathon, and become funded startups. You could be the next one!

Note: While this track is open for any DePIN project, we will be prioritising projects with use cases and plans to deploy in India.

Prizes

• 🥇 First Prize: $5000 USDC

• 🥈 Second Prize: $3000 USDC

• 🥉 Third Prize: $2000 USDC

All winners will receive a member role in Superteam India. Additionally, teams that make quality submissions will receive the contributor role in Superteam India.

Reminder: Teams also need to sign up and submit their projects for the Global Hackathon here.
