Mission

Build out a systems-grade SDK that improves RPC and transaction reliability for Solana dApps.

Scope Detail

• SDK Compatibility & Ecosystem Alignment:

  • Adapt the codebase to support Solana's new functional, modular web3.js v2.0.

  • Create a plug-and-play adapter to integrate the resilience layer seamlessly with standard wallets.

• Advanced Resiliency & Execution:

  • Route transactions via MEV Relays with automatic RPC fallback to prevent frontrunning.

  • Fetch external fee estimates dynamically to optimize transaction execution costs.

  • Distribute traffic intelligently across healthy nodes to prevent rate-limiting.

• Developer Experience:

  • Export RPC metrics (latency, failures) to platforms like OpenTelemetry and Datadog.

  • Develop a real-time monitoring tool for RPC health and transaction status.

  • Achieve 90%+ test coverage via automated network drop and latency simulations.

Submission Requirements

• Public GitHub repo with all source code.

• Web3.js v2.0 compatibility verified with tests.

• Wallet adapter integration with at least one major wallet.

• Jito/MEV routing implemented and documented.

• Observability exports working (OpenTelemetry or Datadog).

• Diagnostics CLI functional.

• 90%+ test coverage with network simulation tests.

Judging Criteria

• Correctness (40%): All features work reliably under simulated failure conditions.

• Resilience Quality (25%): How well does the SDK handle RPC failures, dropped transactions, and network congestion?

• Developer Experience (20%): Is the API clean, intuitive, and easy to adopt?

• Test Coverage and Simulation Quality (15%): The thoroughness and effectiveness of tests and network simulations.
