We're all about fostering growth and innovation in the Web3 space.</span></p><h2 class="heading-node">Mission</h2><p class="text-node">Learn to work with Solana RPC, understand transaction structure, and decode transactions via Anchor IDL. This is a foundational skill for any developer who wants to build infrastructure or analytics on top of Solana programs.</p><p class="text-node"><strong>Level: Beginner</strong></p><h2 class="heading-node">Scope Detail</h2><p class="text-node">Build an indexer for Solana programs with the following functionality:</p><p class="text-node">- Accept an IDL as a JSON file or as an IDL account address on the network</p><p class="text-node">- Index transactions via RPC within a specified range of slots or signatures</p><p class="text-node">- Decode instructions using Anchor IDL and store the results in a database</p><p class="text-node">- REST API with two endpoints: get data for a specific transaction by signature, and get a list of transactions with filters (by instruction name or signer)</p><p class="text-node">- Configuration via environment variables (RPC URL, DB connection, program ID, etc.)</p><p class="text-node">- Docker Compose to run the indexer together with the database in a single command</p><p class="text-node">- Basic logging: startup, indexing progress, errors</p><p class="text-node"><br>Stack and database — your choice (TypeScript or Rust, PostgreSQL or SQLite, etc.).</p><h2 class="heading-node">Submission Requirements</h2><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Public GitHub repository with a README:</p></li></ul><p class="text-node">- Architecture description</p><p class="text-node">- Launch instructions</p><p class="text-node">- API request examples</p><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">A Twitter thread about the experience: what you built, what technical decisions you made, what was challenging, and what you learned.</p></li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Judging Criteria</h2><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">Correct instruction decoding via IDL,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Complete REST API,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Working Docker Compose,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">Code quality and project structure,</p></li><li><p class="text-node">README with instructions and examples.</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p><h2 class="heading-node">Reward Structure</h2><ul class="list-node"><li><p class="text-node">1st Place: 250 USDG</p></li><li><p class="text-node">2nd Place: 200 USDG</p></li><li><p class="text-node">3rd Place: 150 USDG</p></li></ul><p class="text-node"></p>
