Codigo is a Solana AI development Platform that transforms ideas into secure, scalable dApps using specialized AI models. We are built by pioneers in AI x Crypto. We're excited to kick off Week 3 of a multi-week collaboration between Codigo and Superteam Nigeria!

The Codigo DevQuest is a community-powered initiative designed to showcase the talent, creativity, and technical depth of builders across the Superteam Nigeria ecosystem, while also strengthening the ties between Codigo and the broader Solana developer community in Nigeria.

Mission (Metaplex Track)

🎯 Build a smart contract using the latest Metaplex mpl-core + Anchor dependencies.

Try using Anchor 0.31.1. If you encounter compatibility issues with mpl-core, fall back to Anchor 0.30.1.

Your program should demonstrate one or more Metaplex features such as:

• NFT Minting (basic or advanced flow)

• Metadata creation & updates

• Collection Creation

• Asset Plugins

• Other Metaplex features

⚠️ You don’t need to build everything — 1 or 2 well-implemented features with clean code and tests is much stronger than trying to do too much.

Examples of older repos showing good use cases we’d like recreated with the latest dependencies:

• NFT Operations (Anchor)

Scope Detail

• Program must use the latest metaplex dependencies working with the latest anchor version possible

• Program must compile successfully.

• Include unit tests (in TypeScript or Rust). Judges will run the tests.

• No frontend app required.

Submission Requirements

• Your completed program code (GitHub link)

Judging Criteria

• Completeness – Does the program address the challenge prompt?

• Code Quality – Is the code clean, organized, and functional?

• Imaginativity – Does the solution bring something novel, creative, or unexpected?

• Reusability – Can the output be used or remixed by others in the community?
