Background:
FliteGrid is a network of DePIN sensors that detect and identify drones in American airspace.
Since March 2024, every registered drone in the US is required to broadcast Remote ID, a real-time signal containing the drone's identity, location, altitude, speed, and control station position. But here's the problem: while drones transmit Remote ID data, no nationwide infrastructure exists to receive it.
FliteGrid solves this with a decentralized network of drone tracking sensors. Community participants deploy FliteGrid hardware, then they receive rewards and future tokens for the data their sensors provide.
After being collected, this data feeds into the SkySafe platform, where it provides awareness and alerts to government and enterprise customers. SkySafe is an accomplished airspace intelligence company backed by Andreessen Horowitz with nearly $50M raised and a decade of drone detection experience serving the US military, DHS, the FAA, and the PGA Tour. Customers also include airports, stadiums, and critical infrastructure.
With FliteGrid, SkySafe will use the DePIN model to expand across America and then the entire world — sharing the benefits with the deployers who help make it possible. This is the promise of the FliteGrid DePIN: the customers are already buying, the revenue is already real, and the regulatory mandate guaranteeing demand is already law.
Your Task:
Create a Twitter/X thread (5–8 posts) OR a short-form video that explains FliteGrid to a crypto-native and/or drone-curious audience. Your content should educate people on what FliteGrid is, why it matters, and why the opportunity is compelling.
What to cover (pick the angles that fit your style — you don't need to hit every one):
What FliteGrid is and why it matters
The infrastructure gap FliteGrid fills (drones broadcast, but nobody's listening)
How the DePIN model works for drone tracking: deploy a sensor, earn rewards, data gets sold to real customers
SkySafe's track record: 1M+ flights tracked, contracts with DHS/CBP, FAA, allied militaries, PGA Tour
Why this is different from most DePIN projects: existing revenue, existing customers, regulatory mandate creating guaranteed demand

Requirements:
Threads must be 5–8 posts, published on Twitter/X
Videos must be under 5 minutes, published on Twitter/X
Content must be original — no text or narration posted without meaningful editing and personal voice
Must tag and follow @FliteGrid
Mention and tag someone you think might be interested in deploying FliteGrid hardware
Content must be factually accurate. Do not invent statistics or make claims not supported by FliteGrid's public materials
Submit the link to your published tweet/thread/video
Judging Criteria:
Accuracy: Is the information correct and well-researched?
Clarity: Would someone unfamiliar with DePIN or drones understand this?
Engagement: Does the hook grab attention? Does the content hold it?
Reach: Impressions and engagement on the published post will be considered
Production quality: For videos — clean audio, clear visuals, coherent structure. For threads — strong writing, logical flow, compelling framing
What makes a winning submission:
The best entries won't just summarize FliteGrid's website. They'll find a compelling angle — maybe it's the absurdity that every drone in America is screaming its identity into the void and nobody's listening, maybe it's the contrast between SkySafe's military-grade tech and the simplicity of plugging in a sensor, maybe it's the regulatory domino effect that makes this inevitable. We want content that makes people stop scrolling.
