Crypto World's Fair

About Akca Network
Akca Network builds privacy and network protocols that stay private, adapt to censorship, and keep working when the connection breaks. We're building AkcaVPN to make internet connectivity cryptographically secure and user-owned.
Mission
Hackathon teams often work from public places with sensitive information on their laptops. We want to provide builders from Crypto World's Fair with a private connection for the months after the hackathon as they travel, pitch, and raise funds.
Scope Detail
This bounty is for teams submitting projects to Crypto World's Fair. We're particularly interested in teams that:

Work remotely or across different countries.

Travel to events like Breakpoint.

Handle wallets, keys, or user funds.

Are building from regions with restricted internet access.

Submission Requirements

Your Colosseum submission link.

A brief description of your project and team, including names, roles, and X (Twitter) handles.

Details on where your team works from and how you collaborate (remote, co-located, travelling).

One or two sentences explaining why a private connection is important for your team.

Judging Criteria

Need: How much the team would genuinely benefit from a private connection, considering if they are remote, traveling, working in a restricted region, or handling sensitive keys and funds.

Commitment: A believable plan to continue building their project after the hackathon.

Overall project quality: The execution and originality of the project submitted to Crypto World's Fair.

Reward Structure

1st Place: 500 USDG in AkcaVPN credits

2nd Place: 500 USDG in AkcaVPN credits

3rd Place: 500 USDG in AkcaVPN credits

4th Place: 500 USDG in AkcaVPN credits

5th Place: 500 USDG in AkcaVPN credits

6th Place: 200 USDG in AkcaVPN credits

7th Place: 200 USDG in AkcaVPN credits

8th Place: 200 USDG in AkcaVPN credits

9th Place: 200 USDG in AkcaVPN credits

10th Place: 200 USDG in AkcaVPN credits

Note: Credits are non-cash and non-transferable.
