About the Bounty

Your Mission:

Create a Pyth usage dashboard (Dune or Flipside) tracking the oracle usage for all EVM chains it supports.

This should enable the Pyth community to draw insights on the usage of the Pyth oracle across EVM chains but also across specific price feeds (specific asset class) and key users of the price feeds.

About:

The Pyth Network is a first-party financial data oracle network that delivers on-demand, low-latency price data for over 500 assets on close to 50 EVM chains and another 10 non-EVM chains. As of today, there are about $5B in Total Value Secured by the Pyth Price Feeds and the latter has facilitated more than $400B in total trading volume across since inception.

Most oracles today are push oracles where the oracle operator is responsible for submitting price updates to the blockchain. Pyth is different: it is a pull oracle where anyone can permissionlessly update the on-chain price.

Metrics to Include:

All the metrics below are not required as is but are a good start.

Any other metrics you feel are valuable please add them and this will be considered as a + factor for your submission.

Data accuracy is paramount but data visibility/understanding is as is important (everyone should be able to understand what he’s looking at).

• Count & List of all the EVM chains tracked by the dashboard

• Number of Unique Contract Addresses Using Pyth on these chains

• Daily Unique Contract Addresses Using Pyth on these chains

• List of Contract Addresses Using Pyth segmented per chains

• List of Contract Addresses Using Pyth ranked by usage (number of price updates)

• Total Number of Unique User/Wallet Addresses Using Apps Powered By Pyth (daily and cumulative segmented per chains)

• Total Pyth Price Updates Requested (segmented per chain/asset type)

• Daily Pyth Price Updates Requested (segmented per chain/asset type)

• Total & Daily Fees paid by Price Update Requestor to the Pyth oracle

• Total & Daily transactions costs incurred by Price Update Requestors

Submission Requirements:

• Dashboard submitted must be done on Dune or Flipside

• Dashboard must cover at least 10 different EVM chains

Grading:

• The best dashboards will contain as much relevant (and accurate) datapoints and visualizations so that everyone can quickly understand the Pyth usage metrics and draw insightful learnings

• Winners will be selected within five days of the conclusion of the submission period.

Bounty Prizes:

• 1st will get 2,500 PYTH tokens

• 2nd will get 1,250 PYTH tokens

• 3rd will get 750 PYTH tokens

The winner will also have the opportunity to compete for an extra 2,500 PYTH tokens bounty if they resubmit a dashboard incorporating valuable data points and visualizations created by other participants. This will be done via a Private Listing on Superteam Earn.
