Track Overview

This track is dedicated to exploring the world of DeFi on Solana. Your article should provide a deep dive into how Solana's high throughput and low transaction costs have become a foundational pillar for DeFi, fostering innovation and scalability. Include some applications of DeFi which wouldn't be possible if not on Solana, i.e. what's an OPOS DeFi use case?

Discuss the range of DeFi apps available on Solana, including but not limited to lending platforms, DEXs, AMMs, and yield farming opportunities. Highlight the technical features of Solana that enable these DeFi applications to thrive. Analyze the challenges DeFi on Solana faces, such as user adoption, liquidity, and security risks, and offer insights into future prospects and potential growth areas.

You can also include the role of airdrops and points, and how that has led to user adoption for DeFi.

Deliverable: Article posted on a blogging site (for eg: Medium, Substack, Notion, etc.) that is publicly viewable upon deadline.

Judging Criteria:

1. Originality: Novelty of ideas and insights 

2. Accuracy: Factual accuracy of the information and the relevance of the data used

3. Resources: Inclusion of resources to support your claims 

4. Writing Style & Presentation: Quality, readability and engagement level of your content 

Submission Requirements 

1. Your article will be rejected:

   • If it is not in English.

   • If the contents of the submission are less than 1,000 words

   • If it is found to be plagiarized

2. Attach links to any references used (if you have used external sources and no references are included, your submission could be rejected on grounds of plagiarism)

3. The link to your submission should be publicly viewable on and after the submission deadline. Private links will not be eligible.
