Design Superteam MY Merch

Overview

Superteam MY is building the on-the-ground culture for Solana builders in Malaysia, from Network School Outposts to hackathons, startup villages, and community meetups.

This bounty invites the community to design iconic Superteam MY merch, starting with a T-shirt as the core artifact, and optionally extending into a broader merch concept.

Selected designs may be produced and listed on Solana Spaces, giving creators real-world exposure beyond this bounty.

🛠️ Scope of Work (T-Shirt Required)

Each submission must include at least ONE original T-shirt design that represents:

• Superteam MY (flagship identity)

• OR a specific initiative (e.g. Solana Network School Outpost, Hackathons, Startup Village)

You may additionally include optional companion items such as:

• Stickers

• Laptop sleeves

• Tote bags

• Hats / caps

• Plushies / mascots

• Posters or desk items

📌 The T-shirt is mandatory. Everything else is optional.

🎨 Design Guidelines

• T-shirt design must:

  • Fit the following brand guidelines:

    • Solana: https://solana.com/branding 

    • Superteam: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1dOOjI7qmvHvi_NIZjYAHovRSz0xwvUzG?usp=sharing  and/or 

    • NS: https://ns.com/about (for Solana Network School Outpost designs)

  • Be wearable at events and in daily life

  • Work on light or dark fabric (note your assumption)

• Design approaches welcome:

  • Hand-drawn illustrations

  • Designer tools (Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop)

  • AI-assisted designs with clear creative intent

• Styles encouraged:

  • Minimal

  • Builder-core

  • Event-specific

  • Crypto-native / Solana-forward

✅ Submission Requirements

To be eligible:

1. Post your submission on X (Twitter)

   • Tag @SuperteamMY

   • Include a short caption explaining:

     • The T-shirt concept

     • Target audience (builders, hackers, students, etc.)

     • Where it would be worn (Outpost, hackathon, daily wear)

2. Include a clear T-shirt visual or mockup

   • Flat designs are acceptable

   • On-body or lifestyle mockups preferred

3. Original work only

   • Credit all tools, references, and inspiration used

   • No copyrighted or unlicensed assets

4. Must adhere to Solana, Superteam and NS brand guidelines

5. Submission format

   • Print-ready files (.AI, .SVG, .PSD, transparent .PNG)

   • Front + back variations

   • A short explanation of production considerations

(Optional hashtag) #SuperteamMYMerch and tag @SuperteamMY if you want to post it up on X as a Proof of Work!

🏆 Rewards

• $100 USD per winner

• Total reward pool: $1,000 USD

✨ Winning T-shirt designs may:

• Be produced for Superteam MY events

• Be worn by organizers and speakers

• Be listed on Solana Spaces

• Become part of future Superteam MY drops

🧠 Judging Criteria

Submissions will be judged on:

• T-shirt design quality (primary factor)

• Creativity & originality

• Fit with Superteam MY / Solana culture

• Wearability (Would builders actually wear this?)

• Production readiness (bonus)

📜 Terms

• Participation is voluntary

• This is not a commissioned design role

• Superteam MY may showcase selected designs with credit

• Individual feedback may not be provided

• Low-effort, plagiarized, or off-brand submissions will be rejected
