Superteam Canada is part of Superteam, an ecosystem of builders, artists, and creators working to build the Solana ecosystem. We're all about fostering talent and shipping cool stuff on Solana. Think of us as a decentralized accelerator for all things Solana.
Create a comprehensive, automatically updating report on the current state of the Solana ecosystem.
Comprehensive Data Collection: The report should pull data from various sources. Priority will be given to projects that automate data extraction from:
Dune Analytics dashboards (latest data)
Key Solana ecosystem reports/websites (e.g., solana.com/data)
Relevant Twitter accounts (e.g., for key announcements, sentiment)
Solana RPC calls for on-chain data (e.g., using methods like getSlot, getBlockTime, getEpochInfo, getRecentPerformanceSamples, getVoteAccounts, getBalance, getSignaturesForAddress, getHealth, getSupply)
Off-chain data sources like DeFiLlama and CoinGecko for TVL and price data.
Key Metrics to Include: The report should cover essential aspects of Solana's health and activity, including but not limited to:
Network performance: TPS, slot time, block height, epoch progress.
Validator status: Active vs. delinquent validator count, stake distribution, top validators by stake, commission tracking, delinquency alerts.
Ecosystem and Community News
Economic indicators: SOL price movements, stablecoin supply, DEX volume, Real Economic Value (REV), median transaction fees.
Ecosystem growth: Tokenized asset volumes (especially equities), daily active addresses.
Upcoming upgrades/developments (e.g., Alpenglow, SIMD-525).
Automation: The report should be as automated as possible, with data refreshing at configurable intervals to ensure it's current and low-maintenance. Reference the autonomous agent concept of SolPulse for inspiration.
Anomaly Detection (Optional but highly valued): The report could integrate anomaly detection for key metrics, such as:
Significant TPS drops or spikes.
Slow slot times.
High validator delinquency.
Large TVL changes or SOL price moves.
Output Formats: Provide outputs in multiple, easy-to-digest formats, such as:
An interactive HTML dashboard (dark-theme preferred).
A human-readable Markdown report.
Machine-readable JSON (with structured data).
User Experience: The report should be well-formatted, intuitive, and clearly present useful information.
No API Keys/Dependencies: Solutions that require no API keys or external dependencies (beyond Python stdlib and Solana blockchain for direct RPC calls) are preferred.
A link to a public GitHub repository containing all code, setup instructions, and a clear README.md explaining how to run and interpret the report.
Higher consideration will be given to live demos or a hosted version of the interactive dashboard.
A sample of the generated Markdown and JSON reports.
A brief write-up (in the README.md or a separate document) detailing:
The data sources used and how they are integrated.
The automation strategy.
Any anomaly detection implemented.
Instructions for how someone could set up and run your report.
Comprehensiveness: How many aspects of Solana's state are covered? How detailed is the information?
Automation & Maintainability: How automated is the data collection and report generation? How easy is it to keep the report updated with minimal intervention?
Clarity & Presentation: How well-formatted and easy to understand are the various report outputs (HTML, Markdown, JSON)? Is the information clearly presented and actionable?
Innovation: Does the solution implement novel ways of collecting, analyzing, or presenting data? (e.g., unique anomaly detection, multi-source correlation).
Technical Implementation: Quality of code, documentation, and ease of setup.
No Plagiarism: All work must be original.
