About FairScale

FairScale is developer infrastructure for onchain reputation scoring on Solana. We power a universal reputation layer you can use to make trust a first class primitive in Web3 products. FairScale turns wallet activity and optional social signals into a FairScore that apps can use for access control, rewards, onboarding trust, and risk decisions.

We are actively integrating FairScale with Solana protocols, for example distribution and token lifecycle flows, plus reputation based lending use cases.

Mission

We're looking for someone to build a real prototype that uses FairScale to power a trust-based product flow on Solana.

Scope Detail

Pick one of these ideas to build, or come up with your own if it clearly uses FairScale in its core logic:

• FairScore gated access: Build something where only wallets above a certain FairScore or tier can do things like mint, join a room, access special content, or unlock a feature. This could involve integrating with existing protocols or building a custom gateway. Bonus points if your UI explains why using badges or tiers.

• Reputation-based rewards: Use FairScore or tiers to create multipliers, reward levels, or perks within a dApp. For example, a better tier could get better allocation in a launchpad, better cashback on a swap, more points in a loyalty program, or improved access to NFT drops.

• Risk guardrails: Implement FairScore as a light-touch risk input for DeFi or other applications. This could involve dynamically adjusting borrow caps, capping order sizes in a trading protocol, rate-limiting claims on an airdrop, or applying stricter identity checks for wallets with low trust scores based on FairScale data.

Submission Requirements

• A public GitHub repository containing your project's code.

• A README file in your repository that explains how to set up the project and clearly details how FairScale is integrated.

• A demo video (Loom or YouTube is fine) showing the complete flow of your prototype.

• A short architecture overview (a diagram or bullet points works) explaining your project's structure.

Judging Criteria

• The project uses FairScale in a meaningful way, not just to display a number.

• The prototype works as intended and is easy to run.

• The explanation of the project's flow and its importance is clear.

• The project demonstrates relevance to the Solana ecosystem and real-world usefulness.
