From 1 to 100: The 2025 SuperteamNG Ecosystem Chronicle

Description

2025 has been an insane, incredible year for SuperteamNG and the Solana ecosystem in Nigeria.

From a community of builders, creatives, and operators, we’ve watched the ecosystem mature, ship world-class products, and produce tangible, life-changing outcomes. We've seen our Community GDP cross the $1 million mark, watched our builders win global hackathons, and partnered with national institutions like the Ministry of Youth Development.

Now, it’s time to tell that story.

We are rolling out a bounty for our best writers and researchers to create the definitive "End of Year Report." Your mission is to capture and spotlight the biggest highlights from January until now, chronicling the story of a community that defined what it means to build, learn, and earn.

What a Winning Submission Looks Like

A simple "Top 10 Moments" list is not enough. We're looking for a definitive chronicle—a piece that synthesizes the year's events into a powerful narrative. A winning submission must excel in four areas:

  1. It is an Impact Report: Ground your analysis in data. We want to see the impact, not just the activity. Quantify the "biggest" moments with metrics. (e.g., Community GDP growth, value earned from bounties, developer growth, key project user adoption, hackathon prizes won).

  2. It is a Pivotal Analysis: Argue why your chosen highlights were the critical turning points. What was their ripple effect? Why did they matter? Explore the so what behind every win.

  3. It is a Compelling Chronicle: Weave these moments into a single, cohesive narrative. Tell the story of the 2025 SuperteamNG ecosystem. What was the plot? What challenges were overcome? What does this story reveal about the community and its "work-to-earn" ethos?

  4. It Captures the Community Voice: Your research should reflect the perspectives of the members who made this year possible. The final piece should feel like it was written by the community, for the world, not just about it.. Capture the energy.

Potential Angles to Explore (Suggestions, not a checklist)

  • The $1M GDP Milestone: Unpack this. What does it mean for the community? How did we get there?

  • Mainstream Crossovers: Analyze the significance of the partnership with the Ministry of Youth Development for the NIYA Startup Pitch.

  • Shipping & Building: Spotlight the key projects (like NectarFi, Ribh Finance, Verxio, Streamlink, etc.) that emerged from the ecosystem.

  • Hackathon Dominance: Chronicle the wins at global hackathons (Renaissance, Hyperdrive, etc.) and what they signify.

  • The "Work-to-Earn" Model: Frame the year's success through the lens of this core thesis.

Submission Requirements

  • Format: A long-form article (minimum 1,500 words) published on Substack, Medium, or your personal blog.

  • Supporting Content: A summary Twitter (X) thread that links to your main article.

  • Language: English.

  • Originality: All content must be original.

  • Sources: You must cite sources for all data, metrics, and significant claims.

Prize Distribution ($5,000 USDC Total)

  • 🥇 1st Place: $2,500 USDC

Judging Criteria

Submissions will be judged on the following:

  1. Depth of Analysis & Insight: - Did you go beyond a simple list and provide a compelling analysis of why these moments mattered?

  2. Narrative & Writing Quality:  - Is the story clear, engaging, and well-written? Does it capture the energy of the ecosystem?

  3. Research & Data: - Is the submission backed by verifiable data, metrics, and thorough research?
