Hobba is an over-collateralized lending protocol with the best borrow rates on Solana. You deposit SOL or cbBTC, borrow USDC against it, and their Sonnar engine automatically routes your debt across Kamino, Jupiter, and Perena to secure the lowest rate at any moment. Hobba is live on mainnet, and it’s already audited by Ackee labs.
Superteam Balkan is running this bounty with Hobba to bring real users into the product and get honest UX feedback that only comes from people who genuinely sit with the app.
Use Hobba over the next 14 days. Deposit at least 1 SOL, run real positions, observe the flow, and write a structured report on what makes the experience great, what slows you down, and what could Hobba improve.
UX of onboarding (wallet connect, first deposit, first borrow), and what a first-time user might miss or misunderstand.
Sonnar (Hobba’s risk engine) in action: when the auto-routing kicks in, is it clear what's happening and why, or does it feel like a black box?
Position management: monitoring your LTV, understanding liquidation risk, trusting the de-leveraging logic.
Clarity of rates, fees, and yield: do the numbers shown match what you actually experience, and is the math easy to follow at a glance?
Comparison with other crypto lending apps you already use: where does Hobba feel better, where does it feel worse, and what concrete element from another app would you want to see here.
The one sentence test - how would you explain Hobba to a friend who has never used DeFi borrowing?
Anything - provide any feedback that the team might find valuable
Your report should be structured into four sections so the Hobba team can act on it efficiently:
First impressions - what your first 10 minutes felt like, before you knew the product.
Friction points - specific moments where the app slowed you down, confused you, or made you hesitate. Be concrete (not "the borrow flow is confusing" but "the LTV slider didn't update the liquidation price preview until I tapped elsewhere on the screen").
UI/UX suggestions - for each friction point, propose one concrete change. The more specific, the more useful.
What works - highlight the parts of the experience that genuinely surprised you in a good way. Hobba needs to know what to protect, not just what to fix.
Screen recording (optional, strongly recommended)
Screen record yourself using the app and narrate your thoughts out loud as you go. Raw is fine. Share a folder with 1-5 short clips (Google Drive, Loom, or any shareable link).
A written report captures what you noticed. A screen recording captures how you actually behaved, and those two things rarely match. One minute of footage shows the Hobba team where you hesitated, what you expected to happen, and where the app lost you in ways that three paragraphs of feedback never could.
Write a public post about your Hobba experience while you're testing, and tag @hobba_io and @SuperteamBLKN.
Shape a real Solana product that's still early enough for your input to matter.
Earn USDC for honest work
Learn why your assets shouldn’t stay idle, and try the concept of “self-repaying loans”
1st place: 500 USDC
2nd place: 400 USDC
3rd place: 300 USDC
4th place: 200 USDC
5th place: 100 USDC
Format: structured report following the four sections above, plus visuals where relevant.
Bonus content: include a link to your public X or LinkedIn post about the experience.
How to Submit: Use the Superteam Earn submission form. Paste your full report plus any links.
Eligibility: Open to anyone willing to actually use the app and write a real report. Familiarity with DeFi and Solana lending helps but isn't required, fresh eyes can spot things experienced users no longer notice.
Deadline: 14 days from launch.

"How much time should I spend on this?" Enough to form a real opinion. A few sessions over the 14 days is better than one long session, since you'll notice different things in different states of the market.
"Do I need to use significant capital?" No. Test with amounts you're comfortable with, the friction points will surface either way. If anything, small-amount UX is often the most overlooked area.
"What if my report focuses on something niche?" That's often where the most useful feedback lives. If you have specific expertise (mobile UX, lending mechanics, on-chain trader workflows), lean into it.
"Should I be polite or honest?" Honest. Constructive but honest.
