Mission

Participate in an ideathon by submitting innovative ideas for the Colosseum hackathon, focusing on trending sectors and market gaps on Solana.

Scope Detail

• Listen to two Idea Gen workshops to understand idea generation techniques:
  25.08 – Luma
  27.09 – Luma

• Analyze trending sectors within the Solana ecosystem and identify unmet market needs or areas where venture capital is actively investing.

• Potentially relevant areas (but make sure to do your own research):

  • RWA and Tokenization: Tokenized stocks, bonds, loans, real estate, and private markets.

  • Stablecoin Infrastructure and Payments: International transfers, B2B payments, salaries, subscriptions, and payment services.

  • AI Agents and Machine Payments: Payment infrastructure, budgets, permissions, and on-chain interactions for AI agents.

  • Trading Infrastructure: Trading applications, aggregators, analytics, automation, and risk management.

  • Onchain Credit and DeFi: Lending, capital management, and financial products with real revenue models.

  • Identity, Privacy, and Compliance: Proof of human, on-chain reputation, privacy, and regulatory infrastructure.

  • Developer Infrastructure and Security: APIs, SDKs, indexing, monitoring, testing, and smart contract security.

  • Consumer and Mobile Apps with Real Use Cases: Applications where blockchain solves a specific problem and is almost invisible to the user.

• Your submitted idea should align with the requirements:

  • businessModel: Explain how your product can be sustainable.

Submission Requirements

• Submit your idea using Google Doc or a presentation (PitchDeck).

• Ensure all required fields (problemStatement, technicalApproach, targetAudience, businessModel, competitiveLandscape) are completed thoroughly.

Judging Criteria

• Originality and Innovation: How unique and groundbreaking is the idea?

• Problem-Solving: How well does the idea address a real-world problem or market gap?

• Solana Integration: Clarity and depth of proposed integration with Solana's ecosystem.

• Feasibility: Is the idea realistic and achievable within a hackathon timeframe or with further development?

• Market Potential: Does the idea have a clear target audience and a viable business model?

• Clarity and Detail: How well-articulated and detailed is the problem statement, technical approach, and overall vision?

Reward Structure

• 1st Place: 500 USDG

• 2nd Place: 300 USDG

• 3rd Place: 100 USDG

• 4th Place: 50 USDG

• 5th Place: 50 USDG

We reserve the right to adjust the prize pool and disqualify participants if their ideas appear to be purely AI-generated, lack original research or validation, and do not address real crypto market needs.
