The Role: We’re seeking a creative, strategic, and witty Social Media Manager who will own our presence on social platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn, later expanding into Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. If you’re deeply entrenched in the crypto world and can craft content that resonates with the community, this could be the perfect role for you. 

Your mission? Build engagement, boost brand awareness, and help grow KAST’s brand voice across the web3 landscape. Most importantly, you’ll be engaging with the community as an individual using the company’s account—your voice should feel personal, not corporate. The days of boring company posts are over. Instead of just posting content, you’ll be jumping into conversations, commenting, and interacting with key voices in the space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategize and Execute: Develop and implement a forward-thinking social media strategy to grow KAST’s brand presence, particularly on X and LinkedIn, with future expansion to IG, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Content Creation: Create witty, engaging content—memes, videos, graphics, and written posts—that sparks conversation and showcases the benefits of KAST.

• Engagement-First Approach: Rather than focusing solely on company-centric posts, you’ll be regularly reposting, commenting, and interacting with content from the ecosystem, engaging with degens, influencers, and partners to build brand awareness. Your role will emphasize engagement over posting, look to @phantom for inspiration.

• Ecosystem Events: Stay on top of major events in the crypto ecosystem and actively comment and engage in real-time to ensure KAST’s voice is present during key moments.

• Analyze and Optimize: Use analytics to track performance, refine content strategies, and report on social media metrics.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, ideally with some exposure to the crypto, blockchain, or fintech space.

• Deep understanding of crypto culture and the major conversations within the space.

• Proven ability to create viral, engaging content on platforms like X and LinkedIn, with the flexibility to adapt across other platforms.

• Excellent written communication skills with a flair for witty, concise messaging.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
