Zodial is a cross-margin DeFi lending protocol on Solana that lets users use their whole portfolio more efficiently instead of locking assets into isolated markets. You can deposit crypto, tokenized stocks, or RWAs, borrow against them, hedge positions directly, and build portfolio-based long or short strategies with a risk engine that prices assets against one another.
Zodial is live on mainnet and audited by Ackee Blockchain Security.
Superteam Germany is running this bounty with Zodial Labs to bring real users into the product and get honest UX feedback from people who genuinely sit down with the app, test real flows, and explain where the experience can improve.
Use Zodial over the next 14 days and submit a structured UX/product critique.
To qualify, you must:
Deposit real assets into Zodial.
Borrow at least $50 (at least once) during the testing period.
Test at least one real product flow, such as borrowing, looping, repaying, managing portfolio health, or unwinding a position.
Submit a structured report following the format below.
The $50 minimum borrow requirement is intentional. We want feedback from real users who go through the borrowing experience, not only surface-level screenshots.
Your submission should clearly answer two questions:
Where does Zodial currently fall short from a user perspective?
Highlight at least two concrete issues. These can be about UX, onboarding, risk clarity, data flow, position management, missing information, rates, LTV, borrowing power, liquidation logic, or anything that slows users down.
How would you improve one of those issues?
Pick one issue and walk through your proposed solution:
problem → your idea → why it matters for users
You can include rough sketches, screenshots, annotations, Miro, Excalidraw, Figma, or any other visual tool. Rough is fine. We care more about clear thinking than polished design.
Required submission format
Your report should be structured into the following sections so the Zodial team can judge and act on it efficiently.
Briefly tell us what type of user you are:
Have you used DeFi lending or borrowing before?
Which platforms have you used? For example: Kamino, Marginfi/P0, Jupiter, Aave, Drift, Morpho, or others.
Are you mainly a trader, DeFi user, founder, developer, designer, researcher, beginner, or something else?
This helps us understand your feedback in context.
What did your first 5 minutes feel like before you fully understood the product?
Mention what was immediately clear, what was confusing, and what made you want to continue or stop.
List specific moments where the app slowed you down, confused you, or made you hesitate.
Be concrete.
Not: “The borrow flow is confusing.”
Better: “The portfolio health number changed after I borrowed, but I didn’t understand which asset created the risk.”
4. UI/UX and product suggestions
For each major friction point, propose one concrete change.
For your strongest suggestion, explain:
the problem
your proposed solution
why it matters for users
how it could make Zodial easier, safer, or more useful
Highlight the parts of the experience that genuinely surprised you in a good way.
Zodial needs to know what to protect, not just what to fix.
How would you explain Zodial to a friend who has never used DeFi borrowing?
You do not need to cover every area below, but strong submissions will usually touch several of them.
Landing page and CTA
Does the landing page contain the information you expected? What is missing for a new user that would better explain the platform or make them more likely to try the app?
UX of onboarding
Wallet connect, first deposit, first borrow or loop, and what a first-time user might miss or misunderstand.
Cross-margin experience
Does it feel clear that Zodial treats your portfolio as one balance sheet instead of isolated positions? Is the benefit of using multiple assets easy to understand?
Risk engine in action
When Zodial shows borrowing power, health, LTV, liquidation risk, or portfolio effects, is it clear what is happening and why, or does it feel like a black box?
Position management
Monitoring portfolio health, understanding liquidation risk, managing loops, repaying, and trusting the de-leveraging or unwind logic.
Clarity of rates, fees, and yield
Do the numbers shown match what you actually experience? Are borrowing costs, deposit yield, looping results, and risk buffers easy to follow at a glance?
Comparison with other crypto lending apps
Where does Zodial feel better than apps like Kamino, Marginfi/P0, Jupiter, Morpho, or Aave? Where does it feel worse? What concrete feature from another app would you want to see inside Zodial?
Anything else
Provide any feedback that the team might find valuable.
A screen recording is strongly recommended, but not required.
Record a short Loom or screen recording while using Zodial and speak your thoughts out loud. Do not overprepare. Click through the app and explain what you notice.
Recommended format:
Simple UX critique Loom: max 3 minutes
Critique + solution Loom: max 5 minutes
Focus on:
what feels confusing, clunky, or unclear
what made you hesitate
what is missing or could be surfaced better
where risk, borrowing power, LTV, rates, or liquidation logic could be explained better
one proposed improvement and why it matters
Paste the Loom, Google Drive, or other shareable video link into your submission.
A written report captures what you noticed. A screen recording captures how you actually behaved, and those two things rarely match. One minute of footage can show where you hesitated, what you expected to happen, and where the app lost you in ways that paragraphs of feedback often cannot.
These are not required for eligibility, but they can strengthen your submission if done well.
Public post
Write a public post about your Zodial experience while testing and tag @zodial_xyz and @SuperteamDE.
Referral testing
Test the referral or position-sharing flow by sharing a new position, inviting someone to trade with or against your portfolio, or sharing your profit report.
Visual solution
Include a rough mock-up, annotated screenshot, wireframe, or sketch for one improvement you propose.

FAQ
How much time should I spend on this?
Enough to form a real opinion. A few sessions over the 14 days is better than one long session, since you will notice different things in different market conditions.
Do I need to use significant capital?
A minimum of $50 borrowed (i.e., borrows display >= $50) is required to participate. This keeps the bounty focused on real users and helps avoid spam or surface-level submissions.
Do I have to keep the borrow position open?
No. You can borrow, test the flow, repay, and still qualify, as long as your submission reflects a real test of the product.
Is a Loom required?
No. A written report is required. A Loom or screen recording is strongly recommended because it helps the team see where you hesitate and how you actually use the product.
Should I be polite or honest?
Honest. Constructive, but honest. The most useful submissions are specific, clear, and actionable.
