Intro

Thank you for your interest in SolBlaze's Liquid Staking and Validator Ecosystem Data track for [REDACTED], we're super excited to see what you build!

This track is split into two different categories: Liquid Staking Data, and Validator Ecosystem Data. You may choose to submit a project that aligns with only one of these categories or incorporates elements of both categories.

Deliverables

Liquid Staking Data: Build dashboards that analyze liquid staking data, with an emphasis on SolBlaze’s bSOL.

Some ideas include:

  • Showing metrics on bSOL’s growth over time (users, TVL, etc.)

  • Showing where bSOL is being used in DeFi at the protocol and/or individual pool level and showcasing overall trends

  • Analyzing the profitability of various bSOL DeFi strategies given current and/or theoretical APYs

  • Decoding and showing a human-readable view of a user’s bSOL interactions with the stake pool smart contract as well as DeFi protocols

Validator Ecosystem Data: Build dashboards and algorithms that highlight malicious validator activity

Some ideas include:

  • Identifying when validators are potentially running as sybils by analyzing validator profiles and on-chain interactions

  • Analyzing sandwiching and other malicious MEV activity on Solana and which validators are potentially directly facilitating malicious MEV

  • Investigating validator voting behavior to gain insights on whether validators are acting maliciously (parroting votes, committing lockout violations, etc.)

Judging Criteria

  1. Creativity: Your submission should be a novel approach which does not currently exist on other platforms.

  2. Originality: All work submitted should be based on your original efforts, although you can do research on similar offerings to gather inspiration.

  3. Complexity: Aim to build a platform or algorithm that goes beyond the bare minimum and provides additional features or insights.

  4. Usage of SolBlaze: For Liquid Staking Data, make sure to incorporate bSOL into your submission. For Validator Ecosystem Data, make sure to analyze all validators but with a specific emphasis on validators receiving stake from BlazeStake/bSOL.

Submission Requirements

  1. Ensure that your submission is done in English and represents your own original work. Plagiarism or purely AI-generated submissions will be rejected.

  2. Include all relevant materials in your submission, including your code and any applicable supporting materials (demo video or live MVP, analysis writeup, etc.)

  3. Make sure your submission is either publicly viewable, accessible through a link, or privately shared with SolBlaze. Submissions that we cannot access will be disqualified.
