Superteam Brazil is the home for Solana builders in Brazil: a community of developers, designers, founders, and creators powering Web3 in Latin America's largest market.
Now we need a face for it. We're looking for a designer to create the official Superteam Brazil mascot, an original character that captures who we are: bold, technical, welcoming, and unmistakably Brazilian. This mascot will live everywhere: our website, event stages, merch, social channels, Telegram stickers, and beyond.
This is your chance to define the visual identity of an entire community. Design a character that thousands of builders will rally behind.
An original mascot character that becomes the beloved face of Superteam Brazil. Think of the mascots that define communities and products: memorable, expressive, and instantly recognizable.
The mascot should be:
Original & Memorable: A distinctive character with a clear personality. Something people remember after seeing it once.
Unmistakably Brazilian: Draw on Brazilian identity, culture, or fauna in a modern, tasteful way. Think contemporary and clever, not tourist-postcard clichés.
Aligned with Solana & Superteam: Fits naturally within the Solana ecosystem and Superteam brand (purple/gradient accents, clean Web3 aesthetic), while carrying its own Brazilian personality.
Versatile: Works everywhere: a tiny Telegram sticker, a giant event banner, a profile picture, a t-shirt print. Reads clearly at any size.
Expressive: Mascot needs range. The character should work across multiple emotions and poses (happy, building, celebrating, thinking, and more).
Community-Ready: Fun and lovable enough that our community actually wants to use it in chats, posts, and merch.
You have full creative freedom on the concept. Whether it's an animal, a creature, an object, or something entirely new - surprise us!
What matters is that it's original, expressive, and feels like Brazil.
This is merely an open brief, and the concept is yours to invent. The notes below are here to inspire you, not to restrict you.
Inspiration directions (optional):
Brazilian fauna reimagined as a modern character (toucan, capybara, jaguar, macaw, golden lion tamarin…), but avoid the obvious; make it fresh
A character that embodies the "builder" spirit: creative, technical, always shipping
Personality traits that fit STBR: bold, welcoming, resourceful, community-driven
Brand context:
The Superteam global brand leans into purple and gradient accents with a clean, modern Web3 look
Superteam Brazil layers in its own identity: green, blue, and yellow in sober, modern tones
The mascot should feel Brazilian first, while living comfortably next to the Solana and Superteam brands
Bold, original character concepts with a strong personality
Modern, tasteful use of Brazilian culture and identity
A cohesive character system (consistent proportions, style, and color)
Playfulness and warmth as this is a community mascot, not a corporate logo
Tourist-cliché stereotypes (generic carnival/soccer tropes with no originality)
Copying or closely imitating existing mascots or characters (must be 100% original)
Third-party logos or branding from other companies
Raw, unrefined AI output presented as final work (see AI policy in Rules)
Submit a complete mascot package. The following are required:
1. The Mascot Core Design
The primary mascot character in a hero pose
At least 4 additional expressions or poses (e.g., waving, building, celebrating, thinking)
A clear front-facing "reference sheet" showing the character
2. Vector Source Files (editable)
Editable project file in at least one of: Adobe Illustrator (.AI), Figma, or Canva
Fully editable, layers organized and named
3. Exports
SVG files of the mascot (scalable vector)
PNG files with transparent backgrounds, in multiple resolutions (e.g., 512px, 1024px, 2048px)
4. Overview PDF (Mascot Guide)
A short brand overview (2–5 pages) covering: the character's name and personality, color palette, the pose/expression set, and basic do's and don'ts for using the mascot
Go beyond the core and show us the full potential of your character. Strongly encouraged:
Sticker Pack: A set of Telegram/Discord stickers (expressions, reactions, phrases)
Cover Arts & Banners: Social media headers, event covers, PFP templates
Animation: Animated version(s) of the mascot (GIF, Lottie, or MP4)
Video: A short intro/reveal clip of the character
Merch Mockups: The mascot on t-shirts, caps, tote bags, etc.
Anything Else: Whatever your creativity needs. Surprise us.
