MetaDAO: ICO 2.0 | Build, Ship and Raise!

Background

MetaDAO Launchpad is a community-driven platform designed to help early-stage crypto builders raise capital, find aligned contributors, and grow in public.

We believe the next wave of meaningful crypto products will come from small teams solving real problems. The Launchpad exists to give these builders access to capital, visibility, and a network of backers who believe in building from the ground up

This special side track is designed to identify and support builders that:

• Have a product that solves a clear problem in any niche or vertical

• Have a working MVP that is already live or has some users

• Have a product that could benefit from a token — for funding, governance, or kickstarting a network flywheel (economic incentives or utility)

• Are looking for a final push: mentorship, visibility, and capital to reach launch and continue building

• May eventually proceed to raise a public round via the MetaDAO Launchpad to onboard backers, evangelists, and find community support (If selected)

Track Theme

We’re backing real builders shipping real products. If you’ve already built something useful and want to go from MVP to market-ready → this is your fast lane.

We’re looking for:

• Products leveraging crypto primitives—DeFi, NFTs, RWA, DePIN, Payments and more.

• MVPs that solve real user problems, with working frontends or early traction

Eligibility

• A functional MVP deployed and accessible (can be gated or closed beta)

• Willingness to raise publicly via MetaDAO post the Breakout Hackathon

• Team or solo builder with clarity on roadmap & next 2-3 months of execution

Submission Requirements:

• Product demo + walkthrough video (3–5 minutes)

• One-pager or deck with current progress, goals, and funding ask

• GitHub or product link

• Breakdown of the kind of support you’d be looking for at this stage besides additional capital

Judging Criteria:

Team

• Who’s behind the project? Does the team have the right skills and a real reason to solve this problem?

Functionality

• Does the product work well and actually solve what it claims to? How does it compare to similar tools out there?

Impact

• If the project grows, how big can it get and who will it help? What value does it add to the Solana ecosystem?

Originality

• Does it bring something new or unique to the table?

User Experience

• Is the experience smooth, fast, and user-friendly—especially by using Solana’s strengths?

Business Potential

• Can this turn into a real business? Does the final pitch explain the full vision clearly?

Roadmap

• A Coherent plan with goals and an execution roadmap for the next 2-3 months post-hackathon

Token Utility

• If there’s a token, is its purpose clear—like governance, fundraising, or other network utility?

  • Third Place: $1000 USDC

• MetaDAO Offers: Opportunity to join our builders group, receive ongoing support in helping you grow and a fast track to public fundraising (This is not guaranteed and the final decision rests with the team)
