Are you ready to explore the future of technology and innovation? We are excited to invite you to Monash Hackfest, a three-day ideathon competition designed to ignite your creativity and entrepreneurial spirit!

Monash Hackfest is an exciting opportunity to dive into the world of blockchain, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with like-minded peers. Enjoy an exciting three days learning about blockchain & entrepreneurship and ideate future innovations using Solana. This is a chance for students to work on groundbreaking ideas and win a prize pool of up to $5000.

• Entrepreneurship: Develop entrepreneurial skills and experience, equipping you to launch successful ventures.

• Problem Solving: Enhance problem-solving skills by tackling real-world issues with creative solutions.

• Collaborative Learning: Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, share knowledge, and build lasting professional connections.

Submission Requirements

1. Pitch Deck

2. Elevator Video, explaining the pitch deck (max 3 minute)

3. Product Design/Prototype (Github, Figma, or Canva)

4. Registered to Solana RADAR Hackathon

Attendees must also do a short presentation during demo day (25 August) to win the prize pool

Judging Criteria

1. Problem Identification & Business Case (60%)
   Is the problem statement clear and well-addressed?

   How significant is the addressed problem & solutions?

   Is there any clear market demand for the idea?

   Is the business model feasible & sustainable?

2. Presentation (30%)

   How creative and engaging is the presentation?

   How comprehensive is the pitch deck?

   Is there any demonstration of how the product will work?

3. Implementation (10%)

   How well are Web3 and blockchain technologies implemented in the solution?

1st: $1500

2nd: $1000

3rd: $750

4th: $500

5th: $300

Additional Prizes:

6th - 7th: $200/each team

8th - 10th: $100/each team

11th - 15th: $50/each team
