<h2 class="heading-node">About</h2> Palm USD (PUSD) is the non-freezable, USD-pegged stablecoin - live on Solana as an SPL token. No freeze function. No blacklist. No pause. Compliance is enforced at the permissioned mint/redeem layer only. We'reinviting builders to create the utility layer. We have a strong preference for working prototypes over slide decks.<h2 class="heading-node">Mission</h2>Develop innovative applications and solutions that integrate and utilize PUSD as a core component on the Solana blockchain.<h2 class="heading-node">Hackathon Track Scope</h2>This track focuses on building real utility with PUSD on Solana. We're looking for projects that demonstrate practical applications and strong technical direction.<ul class="list-node"><li>Projects in areas such as:<ul class="list-node"><li>Payments and commerce</li><li>DeFi and yield generation</li><li>Treasury management and institutional tooling</li><li>Developer infrastructure</li><li>Social impact initiatives</li></ul></li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Submission Requirements</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>A link to your project's submission on Colosseum (Frontier Hackathon).</li><li>A link to your GitHub repository. If your repository is closed source, please grant access to <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="mailto:hello@palmusd.com">hello@palmusd.com</a> for evaluation purposes.</li><li>A demo video (using Loom or a similar service) showcasing your project.</li><li>A 5 min pitch deck (max 12 slides)</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Eligibility Criteria</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>Submissions should include a working prototype or a clear technical direction. We prefer shipped code over theoretical concepts.</li><li>Projects must be built on Solana or integrate its core infrastructure in a meaningful way.</li><li>Prototypes, MVPs, or testnet deployments are highly encouraged. Early-stage ideas are acceptable if supported by clear architecture, a defined use case, and an execution roadmap.</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Judging Criteria</h2>Projects will be evaluated based on the following:<ul class="list-node"><li>Technical Execution (35%): Quality of the build, code, and overall architecture. How effectively is PUSD integrated into the Solana ecosystem?</li><li>Product &amp; Use Case (30%): Does the project address a genuine problem? Is there a clearly defined user base or market?</li><li>Innovation &amp; Differentiation (15%): Does the project introduce novel ideas or stand out in the stablecoin or payments landscape?</li><li>Traction &amp; Validation (10%): Evidence of user engagement, partnerships, pilot programs, or demonstrable market demand.</li><li>Team &amp; Execution Ability (10%): The team's skills and their capacity to ship and scale the project effectively.</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Reward Structure</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>1st Place: 5,000 PUSD</li><li>2nd Place: 3,000 PUSD</li><li>3rd Place: 2,000 PUSD</li></ul>
