πŸ”₯ The Challenge

You’ve finalised the idea, now it’s time to build it.

As the next step in our Road to Colosseum series, we’re challenging builders to turn their ideas into functional MVPs and get ready to compete in the Colosseum Hackathon.

10 teams or individuals will win a share of 8,000 USDG.

πŸ—οΈ Build Your MVP

Your product should:

  • Be live and functional with a real Solana integration. You do not need to build or deploy your own Solana program β€” using existing programs, protocols, SDKs or APIs is completely valid.

  • Be functional on Devnet at minimum. Mainnet deployments or integrations are encouraged where they make sense and can demonstrate additional technical maturity.

  • Solve a clear problem.

  • Use Solana where it meaningfully contributes to the product β€” not simply for the sake of adding blockchain.

  • Be usable and demoable as an MVP, even if the product is still early.

  • Ideally solve a problem you understand firsthand or would use yourself.

  • Be creative!

✍️ Submission Requirements

Eligible submissions must include:

  1. Project Name & Tagline

  2. Problem & Product β€” briefly explain what you're building and what problem it solves.

  3. Solana Integration β€” explain how Solana is used in the working product. This can include existing programs/protocols, SDKs, APIs or your own program.

  4. Live MVP / Test Link β€” provide a link where judges can access and test your product.

  5. Demo Video β€” provide a short 2–3 minute walkthrough showing the working product and its main functionality.

  6. Public GitHub Repository β€” the repository must remain publicly accessible during judging and include a README with clear setup and run instructions.

  7. Deployment Details β€” let us know whether the MVP runs on Devnet or Mainnet and include relevant program IDs, transactions or addresses where applicable.

  8. Register for the Colosseum Hackathon and select β€œGermany” as your country, also set up a project page after signing up!

πŸ† What We’re Looking For

Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Problem & usefulness β€” does the product solve a clear problem?

  • MVP execution β€” does the product actually work?

  • Solana integration & technical quality β€” is Solana meaningfully integrated and well implemented?

  • UX & product clarity β€” is the product easy to understand and use?

  • Originality β€” does the project bring something interesting or differentiated?

  • Potential β€” is this something worth continuing to build during Colosseum?

You do not need to build your own Solana program to score well. Building on existing Solana infrastructure is completely valid when it makes sense for the product.
