Overview

Solana offers a cost-effective, fast, and developer-friendly blockchain platform with real potential to power the next generation of Software as a Service. This bounty invites participants to explore how Solana could disrupt or enhance an existing SaaS category — from enterprise software and collaboration tools to payroll, ERP, or supply chain management.

Scope (what to cover)

Write a comprehensive business analysis of a Solana-based SaaS solution. Compare it to an existing Web2 or non-Solana alternative, evaluating cost, capabilities, technological challenges, and adoption barriers. You choose the sector and the angle — the stronger the real-world grounding, the better.

Suggested sectors include: HR & payroll, ERP, collaboration tools, administrative software, EdTech, supply chain, and logistics.

Key Questions to Address

1. Cost Efficiency: Is the Solana-based solution cheaper to operate compared to the existing alternative?

2. New Capabilities: What does the Solana-based solution enable that the existing one does not?

3. Technological Challenges: What are the technical obstacles in building and deploying it?

4. Adoption Barriers: What would prevent businesses in the target sector from adopting it?
   

 Judging Criteria

• Completeness — covers all four key areas with supporting data

• Insightfulness — identifies non-obvious opportunities and real friction points

• Feasibility — grounded in how businesses actually operate, not just theory

• Clarity — well-structured and accessible to both technical and non-technical readers

  1. Analysis report (PDF) addressing the key questions and judging criteria

  2. Supporting data, charts, and references

  3. Executive summary with main findings and recommendations

  4. Publish your findings on X as a thread, long-form post, or X article — tag @SuperteamUKR

     • Writing in English or Ukrainian is accepted

     • Real-world examples and primary research (interviews with founders or operators) will strengthen your submission significantly

Participation in this bounty is entirely voluntary. Bounties are a way to learn and dabble in opportunities to build in web3. These are neither full time jobs nor project based engagement. Please be advised that the sponsors will not have time for individualized feedback due to the number of entries we receive.
