<h2 class="heading-node">About Superteam Nepal</h2>Superteam Nepal is Solana's official ecosystem hub in Nepal, dedicated to helping builders across the country launch and grow. We bring together developers, creatives, and operators to support high-potential projects through grants, education, and community. With a fast-growing tech scene, one of the world's highest hackathon participation rates, and deep ties to local universities and institutions, Nepal is becoming a serious launchpad for Solana founders. We're excited to back builders competing in the Frontier hackathon through a dedicated local track with a $10,000 prize pool.<h2 class="heading-node">Mission</h2>Build a strong product with real potential on Solana as part of the Colosseum Frontier hackathon. Teams building from Nepal or with a meaningful connection to the Superteam Nepal community can compete for an additional $10,000 USDC local prize pool.<h2 class="heading-node">What Can You Expect?</h2>We're not just running a prize pool. Superteam Nepal is running a full support structure around Frontier to help Nepali teams actually build and win.→ Prep Weeks (from April 6): Mixers, livestreams, workshops, and co-working sessions across cities. We'll help with idea validation, Solana onboarding, and guidance on product-market fit.→ Buildstation (April 21–28 in Kathmandu): Intensive coworking with daily stand-ups, one-on-one mentorship, design and development support, and evening founder circles. Check the Luma calendar for buildstations happening in other cities.→ Startup Village (May 5–11): A fully sponsored week-long retreat for Nepal's best Frontier builders. Accommodation, meals, workstations, and a top-tier peer group all in one place — come to build, bond, and ship the best work of your life.→ Demo Day Finale: Pitch your project to Solana ecosystem leaders, VCs, and the Nepal community.<h2 class="heading-node">Hackathon Track Scope</h2>This track is open-ended and founder-oriented. We're looking for projects that solve real problems and make meaningful use of Solana. Projects can span various categories, including:<ul class="list-node"><li>Consumer applications</li><li>DeFi (Decentralized Finance)</li><li>Payments and on-chain commerce</li><li>Infrastructure and developer tooling</li><li>Artificial Intelligence (AI)</li><li>Data solutions</li><li>Real-world asset tokenization (RWA)</li><li>Identity and social identity solutions</li><li>Coordination and governance tools</li></ul>We are particularly interested in teams that demonstrate a clear reason why Solana is the right platform for their project and show credible potential to continue building beyond the hackathon.<h2 class="heading-node">Submission Requirements</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>You must register for the hackathon on the Colosseum Platform and mark "NEPAL" as your team's primary country.</li><li>Submit your project to the Frontier hackathon and demo it on your local <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="https://luma.com/frontiernp">buildtations</a>.</li><li>The project must meet the official rules of the global hackathon.</li><li>Teams must have a meaningful connection to Nepal or the Superteam Nepal community — whether based locally, participating through a Buildstation, or actively engaged with our ecosystem. We strongly encourage teams to attend a Buildstation in their city — check the full schedule at <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="https://luma.com/frontiernp">https://luma.com/frontiernp</a>.</li><li>Submissions will be evaluated based on your Colosseum Frontier hackathon project submission. The overall quality — pitch deck, demo video, and documentation — should clearly communicate the problem, product, architecture, and why it matters.</li><li>If your team's GitHub repo is private, please grant access to <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="mailto:nepal@superteam.fun">nepal@superteam.fun</a> for evaluation.</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Judging Criteria</h2>Our local judging aligns with Colosseum's founder-first philosophy. We evaluate projects based on:<ul class="list-node"><li>Product Quality &amp; User Value: Does the project solve a real problem? Is there a believable path to traction or product-market fit?</li><li>Technical Execution: How strong is the implementation? Does the team demonstrate real technical depth and ambition?</li><li>Use of Solana: Does the product make meaningful use of Solana, or is it an afterthought?</li><li>Founder Potential: Does the team look like it can keep shipping after the hackathon?
