REGIONAL LISTING

This listing is only open for people in Nepal

Context

Janamat is Nepal's largest civic tech platform. Polls on governance, tech, environment, local issues, and more, where every Nepali can vote their opinion and see where the public actually stands.

Janamat is built on Solana for one reason. Every poll and every vote sits on a public ledger that nobody can edit, fake, or tamper with.

This bounty is the ambassador push for the MP Campaign. Janamat is bringing Members of Parliament onto the platform, where they see and respond to what their own constituency is voting for. The polls you create and the votes you pull in are the exact data that makes those conversations happen. So this is not a generic make a poll task. What you submit here feeds directly into what MPs get shown. This is a great chance to show what tech enabled governance actually looks like inside your college or in front of your MP.

This bounty is exclusively for Superteam Nepal Campus Ambassadors. Submissions from anyone else will not be considered.

What you will do

Create polls on Janamat, get real people to vote on them, and push them out to your campus, your constituency, and your socials.

There are two types of polls that count for this bounty.

1. Constituency specific polls

Polls on what your constituency needs. Local development, public services, budget priorities, the issues people around you already talk about.

  • Create the poll and get people from your constituency to vote

  • Share it across your socials, your campus, and your local circles

  • If you can, take the poll in front of your MP and have them share it, so more people in your constituency know about it and vote. That is a big plus, and we back you on it

Constituency polls carry the most weight in this round because they are what the MP campaign runs on. If you only have bandwidth for one, make it a constituency poll.

2. College specific polls

Polls on issues that matter inside your campus. Facilities, new courses, student life, admin decisions, anything that would actually be useful for students or the college.

  • Create the poll on Janamat and get students on your campus to vote

  • Share it on your socials so it travels beyond your immediate circle

  • We strongly encourage you to take the poll in front of your institution. You start that conversation, and we help you shape it and push it forward

Submission requirements

Submit all of the following:

  • Link to each Janamat poll you created

  • Links to every post where you shared the poll (X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, groups, wherever)

  • Short note on what you did offline to drive votes (campus push, local outreach, MP contact, institutional conversation)

Incomplete submissions get scored on what is visible only.

How this is judged

  1. Votes pulled in. Total votes on your polls, weighted toward genuine participation rather than a handful of friends.

  2. Quality of the polls. Is the question real, specific, and something people actually have an opinion on? Vague or filler polls score low no matter how many votes they get.

  3. Impact created. Did the poll move anything? MP engagement, institutional response, local conversation, media pickup.

  4. New users onboarded. Referrals brought onto the platform through your push.

  5. Messaging and branding. How well you framed and presented the poll on your socials. Reach and quality of promotion both count.

  6. Overall effort and activeness. Consistency across the campaign window, not one burst on the last day.
