SVM Data Analytics: Building Tools for the SVM Universe

How do we analyze data and maintain transparency on emerging SVM blockchains? Can existing tools meet our needs, or is this a chance to create new innovative solutions?

With the advent of the “SVM” (Solana Virtual Machine) proliferation - harnessing Solana’s advanced transaction processing capabilities for a variety of applications beyond the Solana validator - We challenge you to develop comprehensive data analytics solutions for these new SVM ecosystems - either by adapting existing tools or architecting entirely new ones specifically designed for SVM environments.

This bounty focuses specifically on Sonic SVM, which launched its mainnet alpha earlier this year. Your mission is to improve data transparency and enable real-time monitoring for on-chain assets and projects within the Sonic ecosystem, empowering developers, users, and stakeholders with actionable insights.

Whether you're building dashboards, creating indexing solutions, or developing novel visualization approaches, your work will help shape how the community understands and interacts with the blockchain.

Deliverable

A publicly accessible project on GitHub, or report posted on a blogging site (e.g., Medium, Substack, Notion, etc.) that is publicly viewable upon deadline.

Example Topics

  1. Submit a working, or concept tooling for Sonic SVM that enable:

    1. Indexing and analyzing on-chain activities, asset transfers, dApp interactions

    2. Support for indexing or analyzing any Sonic wallet address or transaction

    3. Any additional tooling that supports users configure data warehouses, data pipelines, databases, and API endpoints

    4. etc.

  2. Write a research article (minimum 1,000 words) that provides a detailed exploration of a chosen topic such as:

    1. Full stack SVM chain indexing and data analysis tooling for all types of data needs

    2. multi-SVM on-chain data indexing, tooling, and APIs

    3. Accessing dApp data, and data sharing standards for dApps

    4. etc.

Reward Structure

Total Prize Pool: 3,000 USDC

  • 1st place — 2,000 USDC

  • 2nd place — 1,000 USDC

Judging Criteria

  1. Technical Quality: Performance and reliability

  2. Originality & Insight: Fresh approach and innovative features. Novelty of presentation (e.g. visualizations)

  3. Analytical Depth: The rigor of the research, clarity of methodology, and the quality of the analysis.

Bonus points for posting your demo on X and tag @sonicSVM, @heliuslabs and @SuperteamEarn.

Content Criteria

Your submission will be rejected if:

  • Poor documentation

  • Not publicly viewable after deadline

  • If it fails to include and cite proper references

  • If the data or visualizations are not reproducible

  • Your submission is not publicly viewable on and after the submission deadline. Submissions of private links will not be eligible

  • Plagiarism will lead to disqualification
