Defx UGC Video Bounty: $500 Prize Pool

About the Bounty

Defx is a self-custody, orderbook-style perpetuals exchange powered by the Defx Liquidity Engine (DLE).

After shipping its upgraded liquidity architecture to Ethereum mainnet, Defx launched Tokenised Vaults: a new vault layer designed for passive LPs and stablecoin holders.

These vaults run delta-neutral liquidity strategies, earn from real market activity (funding, fees, and liquidation share), and mint Yield Bearing Tokens (YBTs) that reflect the vault’s NAV. With this design, Defx aims to bring transparency, reliability, and long-term sustainability to yield in perps markets.

This bounty invites creators to explain Tokenised Vaults in their own words. The goal is to help new LPs understand how the vaults work, what makes the architecture unique, and why early liquidity matters.

Creators may explore topics such as delta-neutrality, where yield comes from, how deposits/withdrawals work, the difference between emissions-based yield vs real revenue, or how the Early LP Program gives 2× points for initial depositors.

All submissions must be video-only, non-AI generated, and must tag @DefxOfficial on Twitter to qualify.

Evaluation Criteria

Depth

• Did the video clearly explain the background of Defx and the purpose of Tokenised Vaults?

• Did the creator cover key vault features such as delta-neutral LPing, YBTs, revenue sources (funding, fees, liquidations), and the Early LP Program incentives?

• Did the video walk through onboarding or show the vault UI (deposit, YBT minting, etc.)?

• Did the explanation help a newcomer understand why this vault design solves common LP pain points?

• Did the creator explore the advantages and tradeoffs of Tokenised Vaults compared to traditional yield options?

• Did the creator engage with the Defx Discord or materials to understand the product accurately?

Delivery & Style

• Is the video engaging, clear, and enjoyable to watch?

• Did the creator avoid unnecessary jargon and explain concepts simply?

• Is the pacing clean enough for someone new to crypto to follow?

• Did the creator structure the content well (clear intro → explanation → takeaway)?

• Submission must be a video (no AI-generated content; edited or scripted videos must use human-generated footage and audio).

• Submission must be in English.

• Video must tag @DefxOfficial on X and include the link in the Superteam submission form.

• Only posts created within the 10-day bounty window qualify.

• No written essays, threads, or images will be considered.
