The necessary skills and tools include:<ul class="list-node"><li>Proficiency in video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro</li><li>Experience in animation and illustrations.</li><li>Creative storytelling abilities to convey the message in an engaging narrative.</li><li>Remaining available in working hours and keeping up with production deadlines.</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Evaluation Criteria</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>You’d be a good fit if you know can answer these questions:&nbsp;<ul class="list-node"><li>What is the point of an adjustment layer</li><li>When to use an adjustment layer vs effects on the video layer</li><li>Use basic shortcuts like C to Cut, V to select and B to ripple delete</li><li>Understand the smoothing of a cut using a zoom</li><li>Understand the smoothing of a cut using a scale up/down by at least 20%</li><li>Syncing a clips audio</li><li>Crop and Transform effects</li><li>Layering effects - Crop on top of transform does 1 thing while the other way around does another thing</li><li>Safe margins</li><li>Understand when a video has to be overedited and when it shouldn’t</li></ul></li></ul><ul class="list-node"><li>Satisfactory sample edit of a 10-15 second clip with guidelines.</li></ul>Note: Only the shortlisted candidates will be given the sample edit task<h2 class="heading-node"> Work Hours</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>Remote work</li><li>Preferred hours: 10am UTC - 6pm UTC | Monday-Saturday</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Requirements</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>Good written and verbal communication skills in English.</li><li>Fast &amp; reliable internet connection.</li><li>Good computer/laptop.</li></ul><h2 class="heading-node">Estimated Time to Complete</h2>The project is a long term commitment, with a monthly payment.Note: The selected candidate will be evaluated at the end of 1 month to be considered as a long term part of the team<h2 class="heading-node">Payment Logistics</h2><ul class="list-node"><li>100% payment at the completion of 1 month</li><li>pro-rata payment if the candidate is deemed unfit before the completion of 1 month</li></ul>
