Mercuryo is thrilled to announce the launch of four new Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) tailored specifically for the Indonesian market. You can learn more about it here.
We are seeking talented individuals to explore these new payment methods and share your insights in an engaging Twitter thread. We're looking for 6+ threads.
With these new APMs, Mercuryo aims to simplify online payments and broaden access to the digital economy for millions of Indonesians. We’re supporting only IDR and providing on-ramping for these new APMs focusing initially on enhancing UX/conversion rate and plan to introduce off-ramping within approximately 2 months.
Your Mission: Provide an overview of Mercuryo's new APMs in Indonesia.
Explain the significance of these new payment methods in the context of the Indonesian market and how it enhances accessibility for users
Explain the role of on-ramping services in enabling newcomers to enter web3, enhancing accessibility for Indonesian consumers, allowing them to participate more actively in the digital economy.
Additionally, give an overview of the seven new APMs — and here’s the technical flow of these methods (we recommend you test them yourself so you can provide better feedback):
BRI and BNI: we receive a payment identifier from the provider which needs to be displayed to the user along with instructions.
QRIS: we receive a hash which needs to be used to generate and display a QR code to the user.
OVO: the provider sends a push notification to the specified phone number of the user. The user only needs to display textual instructions.
Discuss the seamless and secure user experience provided by Mercuryo’s platform.
Offer suggestions to enhance Mercuryo’s new APMs or the user experience.
Provide insights that could be useful for first-time visitors to Mercuryo's platform.
