Your Mission

Pitch your unique scarf design concept and get commissioned to create official merchandise for Solana Breakpoint London 2026 — the largest fintech conference in the UK, expecting over 8,000 attendees — this is your chance for massive exposure to a global audience, and win a £1,000 artwork commission.

Scope Detail

We're looking for innovative and creative concepts for a 70 x 70 cm scarf that will represent Breakpoint 2026 in London. The first stage is all about your idea – share your vision, inspiration, and artistic background. If selected, you'll then move on to produce the final, print-ready design files for production.

• Concept Submission: Submit your initial design concept and supporting materials.

• Final Design Production: If chosen, you will produce the final print-ready design according to detailed specifications.

Submission Requirements

Stage 1: Concept Submission (Deadline: May 15th)

• Concept Presentation: Clearly outline your design idea for the 70 x 70 cm scarf. This can be a sketch, digital mockup, or detailed written description. The concept should reflect the spirit of Solana, Breakpoint 2026 and London.

• References & Inspiration: Include any visual references, mood boards, or sources of inspiration for your design.

• Artist Story: Tell us about yourself as an artist – your journey to becoming an artist, your style, previous work, and what makes your concept unique.

Stage 2: Final Design Files (For Selected Winner - Deadline: May 27th)

• Final Design File: Print-ready PDF file.

• Artwork Size: 70 cm x 70 cm (square format).

• Bleed: Minimum 5 mm bleed on all sides.

• Colour Restrictions: No gradients, ombré effects, or shadows (flat colours only, due to production limitations).

• Colour Codes: All colours must be specified using Pantone (Solid Coated / Pantone C) codes.

• Outlined Elements: Ensure all text and elements are outlined.

• Safe Margin: Keep important elements within a safe margin (approx. 10 mm from edges) to avoid trimming issues.

• Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI.

• Agreement: By submitting a design, you agree that the selected design may be used for production and promotional purposes for Solana Breakpoint London 2026. Please note that the final product may vary slightly from the design due to production constraints and exact colour matching.

Judging Criteria

Stage 1: Concept Selection

• Creativity & Originality: How unique and innovative is your design concept, especially in the context of Breakpoint London 2026.

• Artist Story: How does your journey stand out to become a flagship story to tell in the build up to Breakpoint, and showcase culture of the UK.

• Relevance to London, Solana & Breakpoint: How well does your concept capture British culture, Solana is financial infrastructure at the frontier of tech, and Breakpoint as our global family gathering.

• Feasibility: The practicality of your concept given the flat colour print limitations.

Stage 2: Final Design (for winner)

• Technical Accuracy: Strict adherence to all print-ready submission requirements (file format, size, bleed, colour specification, outlining, margins, resolution).

• Design Execution: The speed, quality and precision of the final artwork, that meets our strict printing deadlines.

• Colour Fidelity: Accurate application of specified Pantone codes.

Reward Structure

• 1st Place (Commission): 1,000 GBP (Paid via Stablecoins in USDG)
