Business Challenge: Institutional Competitor Analysis

Institutional finance (i.e. banks, asset managers) are increasingly exploring digital assets, from stablecoins for payments to tokenisation of money market funds, stocks, and other financial products.

Your Mission

Create a short (5-10 page) report providing a competitor analysis of L1s for institutional grade tokenisation. As a minimum, you must compare Solana, Ethereum and two other L1s that offer a clear institutional grade solution.

We recommend you conduct research into what institutions need, and how this compares with startups - for example, a higher focus on compliance and regulations. In your report, outline what institutions really care about (cost? speed? ease of use? something else?) and how your chosen L1s compare on these metrics.

Important: We want an unbiased review based on facts and careful analysis. We do not want you to simply ‘shill Solana’ without thought. Include aspects of how competitors are currently outperforming Solana, and what needs to be improved.

Also: Please include a reference for any important research reports, websites or other sources you used. This does not need to be full academic referencing - just a link to the websites at the end of your report will suffice.
