About This Track

This side track is designed for founders building on Solana with a clear path to real-world deployment in the UAE. Strong fit includes projects in tokenisation (RWAs), DeFi, and Web3 infrastructure. Teams should be serious about scaling, open to regulatory frameworks, and interested in launching or expanding in the UAE.

Eligibility Criteria

• Submission to the official Solana Frontier Hackathon on Colosseum is mandatory to be eligible for this side track

• At least one core team member holds valid UAE residency, OR the project is operated through a UAE-registered entity, OR the team shows credible intent to relocate (e.g. incorporation in progress, local partners, hiring plans)

• Project must be built on Solana or use its core infrastructure with real technical use - not just conceptual alignment

• Minimum: working prototype, MVP, or testnet deployment. Early-stage ideas accepted only if supported by clear architecture, a defined use case, and an execution roadmap

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated across the following:

1. Technical Execution (30%) - Quality of the build, code, and architecture. Is it actually deployed on Solana?

2. UAE Relevance (25%) - How clearly does the project address a real problem or opportunity in the UAE/MENA market?

3. Regulatory Readiness (20%) - Does the team demonstrate awareness of the UAE regulatory landscape (VARA, ADGM, DIFC)? Is there a credible path to compliance?

4. Traction & Validation (15%) - Evidence of users, partners, pilots, or market demand

5. Team & Execution Ability (10%) - Does the team have the right mix of skills to actually ship and scale?

Prizes

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd place share $10,000 USDG in cash prizes

• 1st place also receives a NeosLegal Premium Legal Services Certificate (valued at over $10,000) - non-cash, covers legal services and strategic advisory only. Government, regulatory, and licensing fees are not included.

The 1st place winner can choose one of the following from NeosLegal:

• UAE crypto regulatory assessment with a market entry roadmap

• Custom token launch and DeFi structuring roadmap tailored to their project

• Token Listing Legal Opinion to support exchange readiness
