Win up to 500 USDC and connect with builders & mentors. Your ideas will be judged and awarded points on the following categories by a panel of experts or judges from Superteam BLKN and Solana Romania:
🎯 Idea Creativity
🎯 Product Market Fit
🎯 Product Feasibility
🎯 Scope of problem solved
🎯 OPOS Score
🎯 Impact on Solana Ecosystem

The Ideathon will run in parallel to the Colosseum Hackathon in order to prepare ideas from the Solana Romania community for both the Eternal Hackathon and the next Hackathons coming next year.

The Ideathon is open to all Romanian hackers, devs, students and creators and it helps if you’re an active member of Solana Romania. The main target for this competition is young talented people with big ideas and the ability to do research. Best of all, no coding skills needed, so imagination is the limit. Areas of focus for products are : RWAs (Solana as the Internet of Capital Markets), DeFi, Consumer Apps, Infrastructure, Memecoins with better tech, Futarchy, DAOs, Tooling and SWEDA: Stuff We Only Dream About

To increase chances for your submission to win you will want to:

• do research on what's already out there, what is possible, what people want and what people actually need.

• don’t submit ideas which are impossible to do or cannot show will have market fit through a simple pitch deck

• the sky’s the limit on your creativity and go as hard as you can on challenging the status quo.

• don’t go the easy route and clone stuff (i.e. pump.fun but only dog coins allowed, drift but with better yields, nft marketplace from 2021) and try to seek ideas which haven’t been done and are original.

• be an active member of the Solana Romania community

• submit a simple 2-4 page Pitch Deck so you can share your full vision

We will announce this contest on the Solana Romania X page, Discord and live events in 3 Romanian Cities: Bucharest, Iasi and Timisoara. At the end of the submission period there will be a 1-2 weeks interval for judging and then winners will be announced in a live event in Bucharest organised by Solana Romania. There will be some extra prizes for ideas we really enjoyed.
