Compressed NFTs in Gaming
Compressed NFTs in Gaming

Underdog Protocol
Problem to Solve
Web3 gaming can be a mammoth task, but representing in-game assets as NFTs can become expensive when scaled up. Compressed NFTs on Solana, however, can significantly reduce the costs and enable the minting of 1 million NFTs for just 5 SOL.
Possible Solution
There are two potential ideas in this direction: - Develop an open-source smart contract plugin that allows any Solana game to enable NFT characters capable of storing in-game information within the NFT. These contracts should facilitate NFT trading on marketplaces like Magic Eden & Tensor, with all the in-game info stored. This would allow players to buy an NFT, play the game, and then resell the NFT with more in-game achievements already completed. - Create a tool that allows gaming projects to incorporate a world-building mechanism into their game. Players can choose to add new buildings to their virtual world, and all these changes are stored within a compressed NFT.
