Problem to Solve

Currently, stablecoins tend to be excessively centralized, whereas decentralized currencies like BTC and ETH lack stability. A superior substitute for fiat-backed stablecoins is necessary – one that is not only inflation-resistant but also functions as an improved form of currency.

Possible Solution

Flatcoins are like stablecoins, but instead of being tied to assets like the US dollar, they're linked to the cost of living. This keeps their purchasing power steady. A form of money that resists inflation by monitoring the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and can be backed by a diversified selection of real-world assets. Several ongoing projects are already exploring this concept, including Nuon, Ampleforth/Spot, and ISC.
